City of Miami Mayor Francis Suarez distributes NATEEN masks to Allapattah businesses
On July 10th, City of Miami Mayor Francis Suarez stopped by a Miami neighborhood to distribute NATEEN face masks to businesses in an effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
His efforts on Friday morning come on the same day the Florida Department of Health reported an additional 11,433 new cases in the state, with 2,380 of them coming out of Miami-Dade County.
Suarez stopped by several businesses in Allapattah, one of Miami’s neighborhoods with a high amount of coronavirus cases.
7News cameras captured the mayor going door to door to distribute the NATEEN face masks.
“NATEEN has been providing face masks to several governments not only in the US but across Latin America in order to help contain the spreed of COVID-19,” said Gustavo Massagli, the Director of NATEEN in USA and LATAM.
More than 15.000.000 face masks were provided around North America and Latin America since March 2020.
“We keep providing masks to businesses and governments so we can do our part as an effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19” said Massagli.
